Berney and Logan named student-athletes of the week

OSHAWA, Ont. – Melissa Berney (Bowmanville, Ont.) and Jake Logan (Napanee, Ont.) have been named the UOIT student-athletes of the week presented by Boston Pizza North Oshawa for the period ending Feb. 1.
 
Logan, a third year criminology and justice studies student, scored his first goal in dramatic fashion on Sunday at Concordia. His tally ended up being the game winner against the Stingers. With a seventh place finish, UOIT will play the second seed in the opening round, which will begin the week of Feb. 9-15.
