Johnston, a third-year nursing major, came up big for the Ridgebacks as they swept their weekend road trip to western Ontario with victories over the Windsor Lancers and Western Mustangs. Starting with a 4-3 shootout victory over the Lancers, Johnston opened the Ridgebacks scoring before tallying the lone shootout goal. The third-year Ridgeback maintained her offensive output as Ontario Tech claimed a 3-2 overtime victory over Western to close out their weekend. Collecting a total of three points in the Saturday affair, including the tying goal and overtime winner, Johnston now sits with five goals and 15 points on the season, tied with Natalie Wozney for the team lead in scoring.
