Eastman collected four points as the men's hockey team completed a weekend and season sweep of the Laurentian Voyageurs. The second-year forward notched a hat-trick in the Friday night game, allowing him to surpass his rookie season goal total of five, now sitting with eight goals. Eastman topped off his strong weekend with an assist on Jake Bricknell's (Port Perry, Ont.) opening goal Saturday, which set a program record for fastest goal scored to start a game.
 
Men's hockey plays their final conference game of the season on Wednesday night, their annual Bell Let's Talk game. The women travel to Laurier for a rare Thursday night tilt before facing the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday on the road.
 
The Ontario Tech student-athlete of the week award is presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North Oshawa.
