Drop-in programming provides the opportunity for students to participate in a variety of sports and activities at their own leisure. Whether a beginner or competitive skill level, drop-in supports students in learning or developing sport-specific skills and staying active, while having fun and making new friends. Drop-in programming is held at various days, times and locations throughout the week and is scheduled based on playing surface availability.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre (CRWC) offers sports including badminton, basketball, table tennis and volleyball. Equipment rentals for open gym time available with valid DC-OT student ID. To view the drop-in schedule for the CRWC, please download the Campus Rec app .
Campus Fieldhouse (CFH) offers sports including baseball, cricket, football, frisbee, lacrosse and soccer. Equipment rentals available with valid DC-OT student ID – lacrosse sticks must be provided by participants. Baseball bats and cleats or shoes with steel/metal tips or studs are prohibited. Campus Ice Centre (CIC) offers shinny, stick and puck and student skating. Skate and helmet rentals available with valid DC-OT student ID – additional hockey equipment must be provided by participant.
Schedule:
- Stick & puck – Monday to Friday, 12 to 2 p.m.
- Student skating – Monday to Friday, 12 to 2 p.m.
Note:
Student skates and stick and puck ends Friday, June 19 and resumes Tuesday, September 8.

All students can participate in drop-in programming and rent equipment for free with a DC-OT student ID.. No registration is required for drop-in programming. Please note: drop-in sports, days & times are subject to change. All students are recommended to regularly check facility-related drop-in schedules in case of scheduling changes or adjustments.
