Entering students with an average of at least 80 percent are eligible to receive an athletic scholarship annually from their university to help with expenses for the school year. Returning student athletes are eligible to renew or obtain scholarships providing they are obtaining a GPA of 2.7 based on a full time course load. Scholarships are determined by the head coach in conjunction with the department of athletics. The amounts and number of scholarships are at the discretion of the school.
Academic Scholarships
A number of scholarships and awards are available to assist undergraduate students with meeting the costs of a university education.
Applicants entering Ontario Tech University from a Canadian secondary school will be automatically considered for an award of recognition. Awards are based on your top six Grade 12 U or M, or equivalent, final grades.
