Khadar, a first-year criminology & justice studies major, started her weekend with a 14-point night in the Ridgebacks’ 72-64 loss to the Nipissing Lakers. On Saturday, against Laurentian, Ontario Tech looked poised for their second win thanks to a 20-7 first-quarter start, but eventually suffered heartbreak on a buzzer beater 63-62 victory by the Voyageurs. Khadar dropped a team-high 15 points, with seven rebounds.

Both basketball teams wrap up their inaugural season this week with a Wednesday night game at York, followed by a road trip to Thunder Bay on the weekend to face the Lakehead Thunderwolves.
