Ball, a fifth-year forensic science student, continued to find her offensive form as she picked up points in back-to-back contests this week. The veteran forward played an instrumental role in the Ridgebacks crucial Sunday afternoon road win over York, scoring the game-winning goal early in the third period. The win helps UOIT remain in the playoff hunt. Prior to the Sunday game-winner, Ball also recorded a two-point game against the No. 7 nationally ranked Guelph Gryphons on Saturday, scoring a goal and an assist in the tough road loss. Ball has now registered a point in four straight games, totaling three goals and three assists during that four-game stretch.
