Ross, a second-year criminology and justice studies student, produced the best offensive weekend of his Ridgebacks career, registering three goals and an assist in UOIT's home doubleheader. During the Ridgebacks Friday night tilt versus the visiting Nipissing Lakers, Ross opened the scoring just six minutes into the opening frame. Less than a minute later he earned an assist on a UOIT powerplay marker as the Ridgebacks raced away to a 5-2 victory. The following day, versus the Laurentian Voyageurs, Ross scored two third period powerplay goals to close the gap in the hard fought loss. With the offensive weekend burst Ross has now lifted his season total to seven points (4 G, 3 A) through 10 games played so far.
