Burton, a second-year criminology and justice studies student, scored his first career OUA goal. The high-motor forward was all over the field in the Ridgebacks tightly contested 1-0 loss to Queen's. He produced two shots for the Ridgebacks as UOIT outshot the Gaels 12-5 in the Friday night matchup. On Sunday versus RMC, Burton delivered a strong finish on a perfectly executed Chris Jaggarnath cross to score the Ridgebacks lone goal. He would total seven shots in the Sunday afternoon showdown and currently ranks seventh in the OUA in total shots (13) this season.
