Koehler-Grassau, in her first game back with the Ridgebacks after attending the Summer Universiade in Taipei with the Canadian women's soccer team, came up big for UOIT who had their backs against the ropes. The No. 2 ranked Ridgebacks trailed 1-0 early to the Trent Excalibur, but after UOIT tied it up in the 52^nd minute, Koehler-Grassau scored the game-winning goal in the 88^th minute off a perfect set up by Julia Listro to give the Ridgebacks a 2-1 victory.
