Rowers represent at World Indoor Rowing Championship

Ontario Tech rowers were in Mississauga over the weekend, competing in the World Indoor Rowing Championship.

Nicholas Biscaro posted the best finish of the day, finishing eighth in the lightweight men's 19-20 division with a time of 7:28.5. 

Calvin Varga and Andrew Dallison each competed in the open men 21-22 division. Varga finished 11th with a time of 6:59.4, while Dallison was 15th at 7:17.3. These were both personal best times for both Varga and Dallison.

The open men age 23-39 category saw Benjamin Ehrlich finish 44th with a time of 7:59.3.

The final event of the day was lightweight women age 23-39, which featured current Ridgeback Ifrodet Giorgees and alumna Kierstyn Hawke. Hawke placed sixth with a time of 7:28.7 - the top Canadian in the category. Giorgees was 18th with a time of 9:19.6.
