Shaw, a third year criminology and justice studies major, has played an integral part in UOIT’s success as they are currently on a six-game point streak. In the Ridgebacks’ 3-2 win over Waterloo on Friday, Shaw recorded a multi-point night scoring the game’s second goal and assisting on the game winner. The following night against Laurier, Shaw had an assist on the UOIT’s opening goal of the game in their 4-3 victory.
 
UOIT has climbed up the standings and sit in third place in the OUA eastern conference. The Ridgebacks will have a tough road trip ahead of them this weekend as they take on the Western Mustangs (Friday) and Guelph Gryphons (Saturday).?
