Bricknell, a second-year communications and digital media studies student, helped the Ridgebacks start the second half with a 2-1 record and was big in the team's northern road trip sweep. The sophomore forward tallied the game-winning goal Thursday night as the team topped the Laurentian Voyageurs 5-1. Bricknell then added a goal and an assist for the Ridgebacks as they topped the Nipissing Lakers Friday to complete the sweep. The strong start to the second half has Bricknell sitting with a team-leading seven goals, including a pair of game-winning goals.
