Salback, a first-year forward and software engineering major, had a successful weekend offensively for the Ridgebacks. He scored the game-winning goal in both matches, including the only goal in the opening half of Saturday's 3-0 victory over the RMC Paladins. On Sunday at home he scored three times in a 4-0 win over the Queen's Gaels, becoming the first Ontario Tech player with a hat trick since Fabio Campoli on Oct. 16, 2016. His goal total for the 2019 season is now at nine, good enough for second overall in OUA scoring.
  
For the men, they sit fourth in the OUA east heading into their final four matches. Their season will end at home on Sunday, Oct. 20 against the Toronto Varsity Blues.
 
The Ontario Tech student-athlete of the week award is presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
