Bates and Berkers, both third-year kinesiology majors, competed together in the contemporary duo/trio category at this past weekends Terpsichore Dance Celebration competition in Guelph. The pair picked up a first place finish in the duo category, scoring an impressive 94.47. They would go on to capture another first place result in the contemporary small group competition with their routine titled "Coaster", scoring a 94.86.

The Ridgebacks as a team saw several more strong performances placing fourth with both their "Say My Name" (94.72) and "Burn It Up" (93.34) routines.
