Tierney, a second-year kinesiology major, was phenomenal in net for the Ridgebacks as she picked up back-to-back wins over the weekend. Challenging the No. 5 nationally ranked Queen's Gaels on Friday afternoon, Tierney turned aside all 11 shots she faced to record her second clean sheet this season in the Ridgebacks 2-0 victory. The 11 saves marked a new single-game career-high for the second-year standout. On Sunday, Tierney followed up the marquee win with a three save effort in UOIT's 3-1 win over the visiting RMC Paladins. With the 14 saves made this weekend Tierney currently ranks third in the OUA with 41 total saves in six games played this season.
