OSHAWA, Ont. – Taijah Henderson (Ajax, Ont.) of the women's soccer team and Nik Vantfoort(London, Ont.) of the rowing team have been named the UOIT student-athletes of the week for the period ending September 10.

At the Muskoka Fall Classic Vantfoort finished second in the men's single with a time of 9:31.54. He then won the men's doubles race with Braden Reid with a time of 13:42.19. In the coxed men's four race he was with the first-place boat of Reid, Jim Jack, Brad Semenick and Hafsah Sher.
