Ball, a forensic science student, had four-point weekend for the Ridgebacks as they swept their final weekend of conference action before the holiday break. On Saturday in their 4-3 overtime victory at Ryerson ball had two assists, one of which was on the game-tying goal with 1:28 to go in regulation. On Sunday at home she had two goals, including the game winner, as UOIT defeated Laurentian 4-3.
 
The UOIT athlete of the week awards are presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
