LoPresti, a criminology and justice studies major, had a three-point weekend for the women’s hockey team at home. On Saturday against the Western Mustangs she picked up a goal and an assist. In a 5-4 overtime loss to the Windsor Lancers on Sunday she scored the game-tying goal with just 12 seconds remaining in regulation.
 
The women’s hockey team is now on the road this Saturday to face the Ryerson Rams before hosting the Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday at the Campus Ice Centre in their final game before the holidays. 
 
The UOIT athlete of the week awards are presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
