Doucette, a forensic psychology major, scored a pair of goals in the women’s hockey team’s 6-2 win over Toronto on Friday afternoon. Both goals came in the second period, including a shorthanded goal with 1:12 to go to the second intermission. The Ridgebacks followed Friday’s win with a 3-2 shootout loss against the Ryerson Rams on Sunday at the Campus Ice Centre.

On Saturday the women’s hockey team travels to St. Catharines for a 4:15 p.m. puck drop against the Brock Badgers.

The UOIT athlete of the week awards are presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
