ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – The Ontario Tech rowing team traveled to Henley Island for the annual OUA Rowing Championships, and brought home a pair of medals in the process.
Form Ridgeback female athlete of the year,
Kierstyn Hawke picked up a bronze medal in women's singles action with a time of 8:09:412. Hawke also just missed out on another medal with her teammate
Kara Woodworth where they came in second in their heat, and fifth in the the A final.
Women's pair Emily Philips and Lexi Buis secured a top 10 finish with a time of 7:59:837.

Alexi Buis,
Alexie Linardatos,
Emily Gallant,
Karlie Stewart,
Sophia Tucker and
Erin McCready, finished seventh overall with a time of 7:42:38.
On the men's side, Men's lightweight pair
Zach Dixon and
Thomas Sullivan finished fourh in their heat, and top 10 overall with a time of 7:44:75.

Andrew Dallison and
Owen Nicholls finished eighth with a time of 7:32:889.
Ethan Kelly finished fourth in his heat and ninth overall with a time of 8:04.912
Men's double,
Alexander Pardy and
Nathan Washington raced with a time of 7:24.08 and men's lwt 4+
Thomas Sullivan,

Andrew Campitelli,
Zach Dixon and Rahma Kahn finished fourth in their heat, and eight overall with a time of 7:22.98
Nacho Arroyo-Lopez, Jack Roughlty, Gordon Adams, JP Bresse, Liam Keenan, Nathan Taitt, Braydon Vaneck, Barnabas Agbekorode, Gabe Hashoul brought home gold in the men's novice 8+ category.
The OUA Rowing Championship was condensed into one day as a result of an adverse weather forecast.
