ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks women's hockey team fell 3–1 to the Brock Badgers on Saturday night at Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre.

Julianne Davidson scored Ontario Tech's lone goal midway through the first period, finishing a feed from Emily Harrison and Milana Perri to briefly tie the game 1–1. Brock's Allison Moore restored the lead later in the frame and added a power-play marker early in the third to seal the win for the Badgers.

Zoe McGee stood tall in goal for the Ridgebacks, turning aside 28 shots in the loss.

The Ridgebacks will now prepare for their home opener against the Waterloo Warriors on Friday, October 17 at 7 p.m.
