WATERLOO, Ont. – The Ridgebacks badminton program secured two first place finishes in their first outing of the new season.

The duo of Jailyn Joensen (Brooklin, Ont.) and Chloe Hoang (Markham, Ont.) finished first in women's doubles.

Hoang also picked up a first place finish in the mixed doubles with partner Joshua Nguyen (Markham, Ont.)
