Justin Svenson (Ile des Chênes, Man.) made it 3-1 just two minutes into the second, but a pair of Laurier goals knotted the game 3-3 after two.

Â
Leif Hertz (Kingston, Ont.) made 39 saves in the Ridgebacks loss.
