Ontario Tech's Drew Toner (Grand Fall, N.B.) scored the lone goal in the Ridgebacks 2-1 loss to the Brock Badgers on Saturday in preseason play. 

Toner's goal came late in the first period to tie the game 1-1 after 20 minutes. 

Justin Brack scored 9:53 into the third period to give the Badgers the go-ahead goal. Jacob Roach scored the other Brock goal.

Between the pipes William Desmarais (Sherbrooke, Que.) made 21 saves in the loss for the Ridgebacks. 

Their final preseason game is Thursday, Oct. 6 at home against the York Lions before beginning their OUA season on the road the next Thursday in Ottawa against the Gee-Gees.
