OSHAWA, Ont. – Christopher Campoli's (Woodbridge, Ont.) goal on a penalty kick in injury time lifted the Ontario Tech men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over the No. 5 ranked York Lions on Thursday night, the program's first conference win over the Lions in program history.
 
At halftime the two teams were tied 0-0, with Dieu Merci Yuma opening the scoring in the match for York in the 64^th minute.
 
Jacob Begley (Markham, Ont.) headed home the Ridgebacks first goal of the season off a Jonathan Neil's (Caledon East, Ont.) free-kick in the 73^rd minute. Matthew Mattila (Pickering, Ont.) made five saves in the victory.
 
Ontario Tech will now head to York on Thursday, Sept. 30 for a rematch against the Lions. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:15 p.m.
