Maguire, a criminology & justice studies major, had a five-point weekend in the Ridgebacks first weekend sweep of their OUA season. In Friday night's 5-2 win over the RMC Paladins he finished with a goal and two assists, which he followed with a two-assist game in Saturday's 5-2 win, also against RMC.
 
Men's hockey returns home this weekend to host the Carleton Ravens and Ottawa Gee-Gees at the Campus Ice Centre.
 
The Ontario Tech student-athlete of the week award is presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
