Foster, a nursing major, was key offensively for the Ridgebacks on Sunday in their lone match of the week. She scored both goals for Ontario Tech in their 2-1 victory over the Trent Excalibur. Foster opened the scoring in the 29^th minute, finishing on a pass by Lauren Rea. Her game-winning goal came off confusion by the Trent keeper and defenders as she was left with an easy tap in from the top of the box in the 77^th minute. She now leads the Ridgebacks in scoring this season with four.
 
Next weekend both soccer teams travel to Ottawa to face the Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton Ravens. The women face the Gee-Gees on Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by both squads battling Carleton at 6 and 8 p.m. on Sunday night.
 
The Ontario Tech student-athlete of the week award is presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
