Carmichael, an industrial and applied mathematics major, helped lead UOIT badminton to their first team victory at the OUA championship this weekend in Toronto. In total, she picked up three match victories and won seven sets overall, as she had great chemistry with her partner Sheng Chen in mixed doubles. One year ago, the Ridgebacks had one match victory compared to 17 this year.
