Although the men’s hockey team lost 3-2 against Nipissing on Friday night, Elser, a criminology and justice studies student was on fire. He scored the first goal of the game for UOIT in the third period and assisted on the second goal on the power play.
 
On Saturday night, the team turned it around at home, winning 5-3 against the No. 10 ranked Concordia Stingers. Elser scored in the second period on a power play.
 
This weekend the Ridgebacks hope to keep the wins coming when playing the Carleton Ravens on Thursday and the McGill Redmen on Saturday.
