Charette, a biological science major major, had two solid games in between the pipes for the Ridgebacks this weekend. On Bell Let’s Talk night at the Campus Ice Centre, Charette allowed one goal against in regulation making 21 saves as the Ridgebacks earned a point against the Queen’s Gaels. Less than 24 hours later versus the No. 4 ranked Guelph Gryphons, Charette stopped a season-high 39 shots as the Ridgebacks forced a shootout.

UOIT will need all of the points they can get down the stretch as they are fighting for a playoff position. The Ridgebacks currently sit in ninth place overall, one spot out of the playoffs.

The Ridgebacks are on the road this week this week as they travel to downtown Toronto to take on the Varsity Blues on Friday, Jan. 27. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
