In his final year with the Ridgebacks, James Krantz had the best season of any golfer in UOIT program history. After posting a top 25 finish at the national championship in the summer, Krantz started the fall season by winning the Queen's Invitational with a 5-under 65. He followed that with a third and fourth place finish at the Western Invitationals. The mechanical engineering major wrapped up the tour with rounds of 74 at Toronto, 74 and 75 at Waterloo and 76 at McMaster. At the OUA championship hosted at the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club, Krantz landed a spot in the top 20 for the second straight season.
