Brett Bullock is beginning his first year as an assistant coach of the UOIT rowing program.

He is a graduate of UOIT with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. He began rowing in the University's Novice Rowing Program and was named captain of men’s rowing in his final year.

Brett has four years of rowing experience at the university level. He has gone on to compete at the national level both as a university athlete and an individual on six different occasions, placing sixth as his best showing in the men’s pair at the Canadian University Rowing Championships in 2014. Brett has also placed third in the men’s pair at the Row Ontario Championships and fourth in the men’s double at OUA championships in his first year as a varsity athlete.

In addition to his racing results, Brett has also been an active member in the UOIT rowing and athletics community.

Brett has had multiple roles in the three years of work with the rowing executive and has received multiple awards for leadership and excellence in athletics and academics.
