OTTAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Men's basketball team picks up their first win of 2024, taking down the Carleton Ravens 85-69.
 
The Ridgebacks began the game strong and were able to maintain the lead as they took a 20 point lead heading into halftime. Leading the Ridgebacks was Ayub Nurhussien (Hamilton, Ont.) with 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist. Adding to the scoreboard was Keon Baker (Whitby, Ont.) who put down 22 points and 3 steals.
 
The Ontario Tech Men's basketball team makes program history by securing their first ever win against the Carleton Ravens and continues the best stretch in program history, as the Ridgebacks currently sit second in the OUA East with eight wins on the season.
 
The Ridgebacks will be back in action tomorrow when they take on the top-ranked nationally Ottawa Gee-Gees at 4 p.m.
