Ottawa, ONT. – The Ontario Tech men's basketball team fell just short 65-75 to the Ottawa Gee-Gee's this Saturday afternoon.

The Ridgebacks started strong, maintaining the lead in the first and second quarter of the game. The momentum shifted in the second-half of the game where the Gee-Gees came back to make it a close game. In the final minutes of the fourth quarter, the Gee-Gees were able to make key offensive plays to take the lead.

For the Ridgebacks,
Keon Baker (Whitby, Ont.) led the scoring with 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Ayub Nurhussien (Hamilton, Ont.) also contributed to the game with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 steals.

For the Gee-Gees, Kevin Otoo led the scoring for 19 points which assisted in closing out the win.

Next up, the Ridgebacks will head home to face the York Lions on Friday January 12 with tip-off at 8 p.m.
