McGill took the first lead scoring the first goal of the game in the first period, but The Ridgebacks where able to tie it up shortly after with a goal from Cullen McLean (Whitby, Ont.), assisted by Gabriel Bernier (Victoriaville, Que.) and Baxter Anderson (Langley, B.C.). 

The game then remained a very back and forth match up, Alex Drover (Port aux Basques, N.S) was able to get a point for the Ridgebacks after going down by one once again, assisted by Ben Roode (Dartmouth, N.S) and Baxter Anderson (Langley, B.C.).

Sean Ross (Bracebridge, Ont.) will go on to score The Ridgebacks third and final goal of the game assisted by Antoine Desrochers (Victoriaville, Que) and Sam Gillis (Sydney, N.S.) McGill will go on to score the game winning goal in overtime.

The Ridgebacks will remain on home ice to play against Toronto Varsity Blues on Thursday, February 1 at 7pm.
