WATERLOO, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's hockey program continued their lengthy road trip on Sunday afternoon, dropping a 3-1 loss to the Waterloo Warriors.
The Warriors were sparked to life by two quick goals from Kassidy McCarthy in the first period, and Leah Herrfort would picked up a short handed goal in the second period for their third goal of the game.
The loan goal of the game came courtesy of
Milana Perri (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) and was assisted by
Harrie Jones (Ottawa, Ont.) and
Nicole Escano (Kingston, Ont.).
One stop on the road trip remains, with a match up in Kingston with the Queen's Gaels on January 27 up next for the Ridgebacks. They will be back in Oshawa on Friday, Feburary 2 when they take on the TMU Bold at 11 a.m.
