Ridgebacks draw Toronto at home

OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team drew Toronto 2-2 on Thursday afternoon, but remain undefeated on the season.

Naseeb Bains scored in the opening minutes of the game for Toronto, putting Ontario Tech on the back foot early. Noah Laronde (Scarborough, Ont.) would even up the game for the Ridgebacks in the 22nd minute. 

Five minutes into the second half, the Blues would strike again with Michael Maslanka finding the back of the net, and Omar Marzouk (Cario, Egypt) would be the game tying goal in the 68th minute.

The Ridgebacks will look to find their way back into the win coloumn on Oct. 1 when they match up with the visiting Trent Excalibur.
