The Ontario Tech women's hockey team fell 3-1 to the TMU Bold on Friday night in Toronto.
For the Ridgebacks,
Emily Davis-Tope (Bendingo, Australia) scored the lone goal of the game. Her tally tied the game 1-1 just 15 seconds into the second period.
Zoe McGee (Kanata, Ont.) made 16 saves in the loss.
The win for TMU moves them into third in the OUA east, while the Ridgebacks sit just out of a playoff spot in fifth. They are three points back of the Queen's Gaels. The top four teams in each division advance to the OUA playoffs.
Ontario Tech returns to the ice Saturday on the road against the Guelph Gryphons. Puck drop is slated for 2:30 p.m.
