The Ontario Tech women's hockey fell 2-0 against the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday afternoon.
 
After a slow start to the first period, Guelph's Tori Verbeek scored the first goal of the game.
 
The pressure was on goalie Brooke Vial (Port Moody, B.C.) in the second period. Despite the 16-1 shots on goal for Guelph, the period ended without a goal.
 
In the third, Meaghan Chittick grabbed Guelph's second and final goal of the game. 
 
In net, Vial made 30 saves.
 
The women's team is back on home ice next Friday to face Western at 7 p.m.
