Ontario Tech's men's hockey team dropped the first game of the OUA playoffs 4-0 to the visiting Carleton Ravens.
 
Despite outshooting the Ravens 21-3 in the first period, the Ridgebacks were not able to register a goal. Carleton goaltender Mark Grametbauer was unfazed by the barrage of shots the entire night and stopped a total of 47 in the game.
 
Carleton struck first in the second period with goals from Kieran Craig and Will Collins before adding two more from Alex Johnston and Majid Kaddoura in the final period.
 
The Ridgebacks will now face a win or go home situation as they travel for Ottawa for game two of the series on Carleton's home ice.
