Ridgebacks fall to Gryphons, return home Saturday for final home game

The Ontario Tech women's basketball team was on the road for a matchup against the Guelph Gryphons. The Gryphons defeated the Ridgebacks 78-63 on Friday night.

Guelph's Natalie Vigma led her team in scoring, finishing with 13 points. Mackeely Shantz also had a strong performance for Guelph, finishing with 12 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

Nadia Ismailia (Ottawa, Ont.) finished as the game's top scorer. She had 17 points and eight rebounds. Dalyssa Fleurgin (Montreal, Que.) finished with 15 points and five rebounds.

Ontario Tech's next game will be on Saturday, Feb. 11, at home against the Lakehead Thunderwolves. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
