Guelph holds on to top Ridgebacks after taking lead late in second quarter

The Ontario Tech men's basketball team was in Guelph Friday night for a matchup against the Guelph Gryphons. The Gryphons defeated the Ridgebacks 93-78.

Guelph's Dezayne Mingo led the way for the Gryphons, finishing with 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Jayden Coke (Ajax, Ont.) finished with a game-high 34 points in Friday's loss.

Ontario Tech's next game will be on Saturday, Feb. 11, against the Lakehead Thunderwolves. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
