GUELPH, Ont. – The Ridgebacks four game winning streak came to an end on Saturday afternoon, with a 1-0 road loss to the Guelph Gryphons.

After a scoreless first two periods the ridgebacks surrendered a short handed goal with 42 seconds remaining in regulation, that would stand as the only goal in the game.

Zoe Mcgee(Kanata, Ont) was excellent, making great saves all night and keeping the game scoreless until the final minute.

The Ridgebacks won't be in action until 2024 when they take on the Brock Badgers at home on Jan. 5.
