OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's hockey team put together a solid 60 minutes and defeated Laurier 5-2 on Thursday afternoon.
The Ridgebacks came out of the gate strong, scoring two first period goals, courtesy of
Liam Hurley's(Cambridge, Ont) first of the season, and
James White. (Peterbourough, Ont) scoring with just 3 seconds remaining in the first.
With the Ridgebacks up one in the third period,
Logan Camp (Bedford, N.S.) scored a dagger, putting the Ridgebacks up two goals in the third. The Ridgebacks would carry this momentum to a convincing win over Laurier.
Ridgebacks will be back in action tomorrow Dec. 2, at home when they take on the Nipissing Lakers.
