TORONTO, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team's undefeated streak has come to an end after falling 2-0 to the TMU Bold on the road.
Throughout the first half, both teams battled aggressive winds while trading scoring chances. TMU opened the scoring early in the second half with Jaylen Drummond finding the back of the net.
The game was paused for 20 minutes after TMU Bold keeper, Dante Ferraro, suffered an injury in the second half. The game clock was eventually reset to the 60th minute, and TMU was able to capitalize with a goal from former Ridgeback
Christopher Campoli.
Ontario Tech assistant coach,Kasy Kiarash, was given a red card in the 78th minute after a tackle on
Matthew Perovic (Toronto, Ont.) in front the Ridgebacks bench.
The Ridgebacks will now get an extended break before their final game of the regular season on Oct. 22 when they match up with the nationally ranked Carleton Ravens.
