OSHAWA, Ont. – The playoff bound women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the visiting Carleton Ravens in their final regular season game of the season.
The evenly matched teams traded chances throughout the game, with Ontario Tech just barely edging out Carleton with 10 shots in the game, but two goals from Chloe Doiron and Lauren Illman for the Ravens were the difference makers on the afternoon.
It looked likely coming into today that a third match up with Carleton would be likely in the playoffs, but with Nipissing handing Queen's their first loss of the season, a match up with the Lakers is now set.
The Ridgebacks will be back in action on the road Wednesday when they appear in the playoffs for the first time since 2019.
