THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's hockey program fell just short of finding their second win of the season with a 4-3 overtime loss to the Lakehead Thunderwolves.
Ontario Tech were bouyed by a tremendous game from
James White (Peterborough, Ont.) who assisted on
Sean Ross's (Bracebridge, Ont.) opening goal of the game, and scored two unassisted goals, one of which being the goal that forced overtime. However, a goal from Colin Van Den Hurk would seal the game for the Thunderwolves in overtime.
The Ridgebacks will now enjoy a toy game home stand starting on Oct. 27 when they take on the visiting York Lions.
