Ontario Tech's Jayden Coke (Ajax, Ont.) finished with 17 points and 18 rebounds in the Ridgebacks first game of the new year. 

Despite being neck-and-neck with the McMaster Maruader for much of the game, with their last lead being 25-24, Ontario Tech fell 77-63. 

AJ Cummings (Ajax, Ont.) finished the night with 16, while Tombe Pitia (Kitchener, Ont.) was near a double-double with 11 boards and eight points. 

McMaster's offence was led by Mike Demagus's game-high 24 points.

Next up for the Ridgebacks, they return home to face the Brock Badgers on Saturday at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
