The No. 6 ranked Waterloo Warriors topped the Ontario Tech women's hockey team 3-1 on Sunday afternoon. 

Scoring two goals in the span of eight seconds in the second period, the Warriors Carley Olivier picked up two goals in the game, including the game winner. 

Emily Davis-Tope (Bendingo, Australia) scored the only goal for Ontario Tech in the game, 6:15 into the third to cut the Waterloo lead to one.

Brooke Vial (Port Moody, B.C.) made 24 saves in the loss. 

Next up, the Ridgebacks travel to Toronto for a Friday night game against the TMU Bold, who currently hold the final playoff spot in the east.
